The Claes Retail Group (CRG) has its roots in 1975, when founder Jean-Baptiste Claes lent his initials to the first branch of the Belgian fashion chain, JBC. Since then, the family holding company has grown into a leading player in the Belgian retail market, with the three Belgian fashion labels JBC, CKS and Mayerline under its wings. CRG is managed by Ann and Bart Claes, the children of Jean.
